Coach Felecia Killings and Shane Aubel Discuss Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: A Conscious Conservative Look at Progressivism's Attempt to Right the Wrongs of the Past

The CCM Podcast Political Activation Volume 9

Greetings Beloved,

Welcome to a new episode of The Conscious Conservative Podcast!

I am Coach Felecia Killings, Founder and CEO of The Felecia Killings Foundation. We are a Conscious Conservative think tank and coaching organization that trains rising thought leaders for full activation in the social, political, and economic spheres.

Through our daily teachings hosted on our site, our podcast, and our social media channels, we prepare our leaders and clients with spiritual and practical tools to bring revival and reformation to the communities they serve.

The Foundation was founded in 2018 with a goal to teach rising leaders how to understand Kingdom laws, spiritual principles, and practical strategies that help them walk in their calling.

By using the power of the written and spoken word, each leader could bring change within the social, political, and economic spheres based on their God-given vision.

In 2019, The Conscious Conservative Movement was founded with a goal of demonstrating how these spiritual laws and practical principles could be applied in the social, political, and economic spheres to produce God-like wonders.

By learning how to do things God’s way, we can always expect His results. And since the launch of this Movement, millions of people have witnessed the power of God’s Word working through our various spheres.

In 2022, The Conscious Conservative Movement proved influential in securing local and statewide conservative political victories in Georgia.

Using effective communication strategies that delivered political insight to Black voters and Conservatives, we proved why shifting conservative messaging and training is the #1 solution for bridging a racial gap within the Republican structure. In addition, our research helped inform conservative politics on behalf of Black Americans who are interested in protecting what they build. As a result, more Black voters aligned with Georgia’s conservative politics, ensuring a sweeping conservative victory.

In 2023, The Conscious Conservative Movement Leadership Network and Convention were formed to provide ongoing group support to our leaders.

Each month, we host group webinars, monthly masterclasses with today's leading Conservative experts, and so much more. In addition, our members receive exclusive invites to join our annual CCM Leadership Convention in Atlanta, GA every October.

Since its inception, our work and message have reached the heights of Washington D.C.

I have been featured on major independent and mainstream outlets, including Red State and FOX News, generating millions of views on our national work.

In 2020, as The Movement gained traction, My Beloved Women’s Ministry, Leadership Network, and Retreat were founded to help solve a social problem among women who needed help rebuilding their lives after experiencing trauma.

Through this ministry, The Foundation provides career coaching services, grocery blessings, and conservative political education to each client. In addition, our network of empowering coaches and consultants bring our women members advanced training and support to help them launch their leadership platforms in the social spheres.

In 2024, The Felecia Killings Foundation will officially become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Since launching The Foundation in 2018, we have generated over $250,000 in combined revenue. We put each dollar to work to finance our CCM outreach and research efforts; to provide grocery assistance to those in need; to deliver FREE or low-cost training to rising leaders; and to deliver FREE daily teachings via our social media platforms.

As we continue doing the work of ministry and affecting change on the local, state, and national level, we remember our core motto: Everyone has a part or share in this great Kingdom work.

When we learn to do things God's way, we always get His results.

And now's the time to manifest His greatness in the social, political, and economic spheres.

The Felecia Killings Foundation is the vehicle we use to make our mark.

I send a blessing to each person who will tune into this new episode of The Conscious Conservative Podcast. Our mission is to equip rising leaders like you with spiritual and practical tools to help you manifest your vision this year. In addition, my guest speakers and I discuss pertinent topics within the social, political, and economic spheres from a Conscious Conservative perspective.

As you know, the essence of Conscious Conservatism is to demonstrate how moral conservatism empowers us to create social, political, and economic empires based on Kingdom principles. As Conservatives, our 'consciousness' stems from our awareness of spiritual laws that, when applied correctly, guarantee our success. As Conscious Conservatives, we conserve these truths and implement these values to solve problems in our communities. And as a result of doing things this better way, we can expect better results that last for generations to come.

Now, let’s get into this teaching.

Today’s Scripture: “Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding” (Proverbs 23:23). “Wisdom is the most important thing. So get wisdom. If it costs everything you have, get understanding. Believe in the value of wisdom, and it will make you great. Use it, and it will bring honor to you.” (Proverbs 4:7-9).

Today, I have a special guest for the LIVE show. We’re going to discuss DEI. This topic is of great importance, because we are witnessing the total toxic nature of Progressivism’s “diversity” initiatives, which have completely strayed from the original intent.

During this show, other guests joined the stage to give their first-hand experiences with DEI.

But no guest was more instrumental to the conversation than Shane Aubel. Here are some of his notes and highlights:

  1. The discussion about how "toxic" DEI has become: First, the real toxicity levels went up with the "inclusion" of the pride stuff. The whole month of June is insanity across defense contractors. e.g. There was an entire rainbow colored semi-tractor trailer traveling across the country to different offices and hosted parties, drag queens and all. Again, a lot of this stuff gets framed as anti-Black, when it is not. Also, the 8hr quarterly training was not all DEI and that was not clear. There were usually 8-10 modules and DEI stuff was usually 1 or 2. Some of it was "don't steal from the company", "don't take bribes", "don't make sexual advances on co-workers", kind of things.

  2. When I was talking about the company getting purchased for $150m by the defense contractor but had to promote women and minorities. That was technically ESG, related to financing, and not DEI. This is the problem that all of this stuff is so complicated.

  3. There was also some important context to all of this discussion. Most of my education and career, I have been surrounded by Black Americans in positions of finance, law, business development, IT, management, professors, teachers, neighbors, friends, etc. most with advanced degrees. I've been in executive meetings where I have been the "minority". This was all LONG before this DEI-stuff became so insane. I'm assuming that being in a room full of professionals this is self-evident, but this is an important part of my frustration with this DEI topic. It completely bastardizes the reality of everything I've known and experienced, and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, and I recognize this frustration in a lot of the awkward comments from "white" people that come across as "racist". Most of us have allowed the left to completely tongue-tie us, and we get anxiety around the topic, so everything we say sounds asinine.

I hope you enjoy this conversation.
